Ultrasound
This is a high frequency sound wave treatment. It should not be confused with diagnostic ultra sound, but is a therapeutic procedure that uses sound waves to treat injured muscle, joints and soft tissues.
The sound waves do the following:

vibrate the tissue causing a deep micro-massage effect;

decrease inflammation;

accelerate healing, by stimulating the activity of the cell for cellular and tissue repair;

Stimulates healing without irritation, improving blood flow and reducing nerve irritation.
